The week of Thanksgiving provides the perfect bridge between looking back (gratefulness) and looking forward (vision). In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a handful of resources to help you and your coaching clients begin crafting a clear, personal vision as they move into the new year. For now, here are 3 questions to ask yourself – or perhaps toss out to family and friends around the table on Thursday!
- What was a lesson you learned about yourself this year? Maybe it was tuning into how sleep influences relationships or how implementing a 24 hour pause on any purchases changed your budget or any number of potentially interesting self-discoveries.
- What heart sparks did you notice? These are those precious moments when you look out at the world and think “this is one of those moments I may never forget.” Maybe it’s a sunset, a concert with friends, a special time with family, or sitting by a stream with journal in hand. Whatever it might be for you – take note of when/where and with whom they occur.
- Ponder what little changes in your life would provide space and opportunity for experiencing more of #2.
Happy Thanksgiving friends. It’s been quite the year in the world but through it all, the grateful heart lives on.
